Cathy Tew

Cathy is the founder of Cathy Tew Associates, an accountancy practice focusing solely on the financial requirements of healthcare professionals in small businesses. By providing one-to-one consultancy and fostering strong professional relationships, her company prides itself on offering a bespoke and personable service, over and above that offered by a traditional accountancy firm.

Cathy trained in the City of London and qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 1993. Soon after, she moved back to the Midlands where she worked in a large independent practice for 13 years. She then became a partner in Gordon & Hood, a specialist accountancy practice for the medical and dental professions, before setting up Cathy Tew Associates in 2009.

Cathy's husband, John, plays a huge role in her business and works in the business full time. They have two daughters who have entered the medical and dental professions; Jenni, a GP and Lissie, a dentist. In the precious moments she isn't working, she enjoys dressmaking, swimming and anything dance related.
